Covid Update | 17th May Easing of Restrictions

With the easing of restrictions confirmed to take place as scheduled on 17th May, we are looking forward to once again welcoming campers and pods guests, as well as re-opening our indoor areas for you to enjoy!
Here’s a run-down of the changes happening next week and the protocols we’ll have in place to keep you safe during your stay.
On Monday 17th May from 12pm
Camping shower, toilet and washing up facilities will open
- Regular, robust cleaning procedures are in place and hand sanitiser is provided for use on entry.
- Face coverings must be worn in all communal areas,unless exempt - these can be removed when inside cubicles and for washing/toothbrushing.
- One-way systems are in place in some areas and queuing inside the facilities in not permitted.
- Children must be accompanied at all times.
The Indoor area of the Hayloft Bar will open
- We are operating with Table Service only in all indoor and outdoor areas. All guests must be seated to order.
- Guests using the indoor area can meet in groups of 6 (or two households) whilst maintaining social distancing.
- All guests must check in with the NHS Covid-19 App or provide details for contact tracing before entry is permitted. Failure to comply with these requirements will unfortunately result in refused entry.
- Face coverings must be worn until seated (unless exempt), and all visitors must use hand sanitiser provided upon entry.
- Card/contactless payments, where possible.
Rafters Amusements will open
- Face coverings must be worn (Ages 11+), unless exempt, and all visitors must use hand sanitiser provided upon entry.
- All guests must check in with the NHS Covid-19 App
- Regular cleaning procedures are in place
From Friday 21st May
Evening Entertainment will commence in the Granary with a mix of live music and entertainment – and bingo is back!
- Guests using the indoor area can meet in groups of 6 (or two households) whilst maintaining social distancing.
- All guests must check in with the NHS Covid-19 App or provide details for contact tracing before entry is permitted. Failure to comply with these requirements will unfortunately result in refused entry.
- Face coverings must be worn until seated (unless exempt), and all visitors must use hand sanitiser provided upon entry.
- A table service for drinks will be provided. (This will pause during the performance)
- Singing/dancing is not currently permitted, and all guests must remain seated as much as possible.
- Card/contactless payments, where possible.
From Saturday 22nd May
Shire Craft Room Re-opens – NEW Location off Rafters Amusements
- Sessions are limited and must be pre-booked.
- Face coverings must be worn (Ages 11+), unless exempt, and all visitors must use hand sanitiser provided upon entry.
- Each child will have their own socially distanced crafting space, with crafting supplies and any equipment will be cleaned and sanitised
- Children must be accompanied by one adult
- Sessions available weekends during term time and daily during May Half Term
The Den Soft Play Re-opens
- Sessions are limited to 6 children (ages 8 and under) and must be pre-booked.
- All visitors must use hand sanitiser provided upon entry and face coverings must be worn (unless exempt)
- Parents/guardians are responsible for their children at all times. Children must be closely supervised to ensure social distancing is maintained whilst using the play area.
- Young children who may not understand the concept of social distancing must be accompanied by an adult at all times whilst in the play structure. Therefore, the accompanying adult must be physically capable of climbing in the play structure.
- Robust cleaning procedures are in place, with additional cleaning between scheduled sessions.
- Sessions available weekends during term time and daily during May Half Term
Takeaway Food Service Available
With the social distancing protocols affecting kitchen staffing levels, we are currently only able to safely operate a takeaway only food service. This can be ordered at the Hatch or in the bar for delivery to your table, however, please be aware this will be in takeaway packaging. Thank you for your understanding.
Our Shop and Outdoor Pool are already open – with no changes at this stage
Please continue to book your swimming sessions daily online, and don’t forget, you can order morning bread and croissants from our Click and Collect Bakery!
Coming Soon New Indoor Pool
Please continue to be aware that there will be building work taking place on site over as part of a scheduled development for the addition of an indoor swimming pool. We will do all we can to minimise any disruption or inconvenience this may cause and apologise in advance for our appearance during this time.
